She stated, “These changes enable the sector to invest with confidence and streamline the heat pump installation process for both installers and consumers.”

Ian Rippin, CEO of MCS, praised the changes, noting that the increased funding and updated development rights will bolster the industry’s growth. He said, “The confirmation of the Clean Heat Market Mechanism and additional support for the BUS address key concerns and position the sector for accelerated deployment.”
