Set in the heart of the historic city of Chichester, with views over rolling parkland, the club is dedicated to providing high level sports and fitness facilities in a modern environment. Established in 1964 we are a members’ club with an excellent reputation for the promotion of tennis, squash, padel and fitness. The atmosphere is relaxed, warm and friendly. Whether you are competitive or just enjoy a social game, there is something for everyone and activities for all the family.

Chichester Racquets & Fitness Club has a state of the art padel courts which were opened in late 2020 with:

2 outdoor artificial grass courts
Both courts have floodlighting

Why are we holding the padel tournament?
I’m Lloyd Damron, Sales Director at Bennett & Game Recruitment - but above all else, I’m Darcy’s dad.
We are hosting this charity padel day in memory of our beautiful daughter, Darcy. Though her time with us was far too short, the love she brought into our lives and the lasting mark she has left on our family will never fade.
Darcy showed incredible strength as she battled an aggressive brain tumour. During what was unquestionably the most painful and overwhelming period of our lives, we were met with outstanding care, compassion and humanity from the team at Naomi House & Jacksplace Hospice.
Darcy spent 16 incredibly special days at Naomi House. There, she was able to enjoy the hydrotherapy pool, unwind in the sensory room, and take gentle walks with us around the peaceful grounds. In those precious moments, supported by a team who truly understood, we were able to simply be Mum and Dad again - not medical carers, not overwhelmed parents - just a family spending meaningful time together.
Naomi House didn’t only look after Darcy; they supported us as parents too. They provided reassurance, space to breathe, and the opportunity to create memories that we will carry with us forever.
Why are we raising money?
In Darcy’s memory, we created Darcy’s Dream - a way to ensure other families facing the unimaginable receive the same compassion and care that meant everything to us.
We are raising £58,000, representing the 58 days Darcy fought her brain tumour with incredible bravery. Every penny raised from this golf day will go directly to Naomi House & Jacksplace, the hospice that cared for Darcy and supported us with such warmth and dignity.
The hospice must raise around £9 million each year to continue its vital work, relying heavily on donations to be there for families like ours.
By supporting Darcy’s Dream, you are helping turn heartbreak into hope — ensuring other children and their families are surrounded by love, comfort and understanding when they need it most.

If tied, then by fewest games lost at group stage.
If still tied then a Golden Point playoff, coin flip for who gets serve.
