Why do Naomi & Jacks mean so much to us?
"I’m Lloyd Damron, Sales Director of Bennett and Game, but more importantly, I’m Darcy’s Dad.

We are hosting and attending multiple events in loving memory of our daughter, Darcy. Although her life was heartbreakingly short, the impact she has had on our family, and on everyone who knew her, will last forever. Darcy bravely fought a devastating brain tumour, and during the darkest and most painful time of our lives, we were supported with extraordinary compassion, dignity and kindness by Naomi House & Jacksplace Hospice.
Darcy spent 16 precious days at Naomi House, where she was able to enjoy time in the pool, relax in the sensory room, and where we took long walks together around the beautiful grounds. In those moments, surrounded by care and understanding, we felt like parents again, not carers, not visitors, just a family making memories. Naomi House didn’t just care for Darcy; they cared for us as her parents too, giving us comfort, space, and moments we will cherish forever.
In Darcy’s memory, we created Darcy’s Dream to ensure that other families facing the unimaginable can receive the same love and support that meant so much to us. Through Darcy’s Dream, we are raising funds for Naomi House & Jacksplace, the hospice that cared for Darcy and supported us when we needed it most.
We are aiming to raise £58,000, representing the 58 days Darcy bravely fought her brain tumour with all funds raised from the Snowdon Sunrise walk going directly to Naomi House & Jacksplace. The hospice needs to raise around £9 million every year to continue its vital work, with only around 10% coming from statutory funding, meaning it relies heavily on the generosity of supporters to survive."
