Job Profile

Position: Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager

Location: Market Harborough (office based)

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000

Most Project Coordinator roles ask you to keep the paperwork moving. This one asks you to rethink how the paperwork gets done in the first place. A fast-growing interiors and refurbishment specialist is looking for a digitally minded Project Coordinator who wants to progress into Project Management and help shape how a growing business runs.

Founded around four years ago, the business delivers multi-service refurbishment packages including drylining, ceilings, partitions, flooring and electrical works. Turnover has grown from £5.2 million last year to a projected £6.3 million this year, and the average project value is climbing. The team of 11 already runs its own CRM and quoting systems and uses AI agents to automate a growing number of tasks, putting it well ahead of most of the sector on digital adoption.

Your first three to six months will be spent getting under the skin of the business: shadowing project administration, finance, operations and the Contracts Managers, mapping how work flows through the company, and finding ways to make it faster and simpler. From there, you will step into managing your own smaller projects, often maintenance and additional works for existing clients, with several running at once. In a business this size, your ideas will be heard and acted on.
