Chestnut Tree House - Charity Fundraising Round-Up for 2024
2024 was an exceptional year for fundraising for our chosen charity, Chestnut Tree House, with a year full of fundraising events to help our team raise £2340.20.

Chestnut Tree House is a children’s hospice based in Sussex, providing vital care and support to children and young people with life-limiting conditions. Since opening in 2003, the charity has offered specialist medical care, respite services, and emotional support to families, ensuring they receive the best possible quality of life. The hospice operates both at its facility and through community outreach, helping families in their own homes.
As a charity, Chestnut Tree House relies heavily on donations and fundraising to continue its work, as only a small percentage of its funding comes from government sources. Supporters contribute through events, sponsorships, and corporate partnerships, helping to cover the costs of care and facilities. The hospice also raises awareness about the challenges faced by children with life-limiting conditions and their families, advocating for better support and services. With its compassionate approach, Chestnut Tree House plays a crucial role in ensuring that children with complex medical needs receive comfort, care, and dignity throughout their journey.
With this in mind, we wanted to have a round-up of our events that took place and share some memories with you all.
Goodwood 10K Run
In February 2024 a group of our team took part in the 10K run in Chichester hosted by Chestnut Tree House and we are so proud of how well our team did.
The Chichester 10k is a fast, flat route at Goodwood Motor Circuit - perfect for beginners and seasoned runners wanting to improve their personal best! We recommend this run if you're looking to get involved in a charity run.

Team Bake Off
In May 2024 a number of our team members took part in a bake-off competition to raise funds for Chestnut Tree House while showing off their culinary skills. We enjoyed some delicious bakes such as; Carrot cake, banana bread, biscuits, brownies, cookies and more!

Gardening Day
Graham, Laura, Nathaniel and Courtney volunteered to take part in a gardening day on 29th April 2024 at the Chestnut Tree House grounds near Arundel. Not only did they have the joy of getting to help maintain the grounds and build a natural wall from wood and logs, but they also had the privilege of being shown the grounds and the beautifully set-up memorial garden.

Golf Day
A large group of our team headed over to Goodwood Health Club in August 2024 to take part in an 18-hole golf game and finish off with a couple of cold beers in the sun. Each member donated £15 each which was donated to Chestnut Tree House.

Christmas Jumper Day
In true Christmas style, the company wore Christmas jumpers on 12th December to raise money for Chestnut Tree House and get into the Christmas spirit.
Along with these fundraising events, we had team members take part in other marathons and skydiving for charities such as AMMF and Alzheimer’s Society, and each person donated money at the Summer and Christmas party which went into the charity pot for Chestnut Tree House.

Our Chosen Charity for 2025
We are pleased to announce that our chosen charity for 2025 is Sage House. To choose which charity we will be supporting each year, we encourage the team to make suggestions on who they would like to support and then each person votes anonymously.
Sage House is a bespoke, functional community hub that brings local Dementia Support services together under one roof. Located in Tangmere, West Sussex they provide the latest support, information, advice and activities to those living with dementia and their families.
We’ve got lots of exciting ideas for fundraising events lined up for this year, so keep a look out on our social media pages for regular updates!
