Civil Technician - required to join a leading engineering and consultancy based in Wakefield. The company are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Civil Technician to join their team with a passion for innovation and a proficiency in AutoCAD. The Civil Technician will be working for a company that work on a range of projects within the Energy sector including Foundations Substations, EV stations and drainage projects that have a commitment to excellence, delivering innovative solutions that shape the future of infrastructure projects.

Civil Technician Position Overview

• Utilise your extensive experience to lead and contribute to the development of civil engineering designs and models using AutoCAD
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of civil engineering designs into larger project plans
• Take ownership of project deliverables, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing work environment
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to continuously enhance our engineering processes

Civil Technician Position Requirements

• Experienced Civils CAD Technician.
• Knowledge of drainage, highways and complex foundations essential
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD for civil engineering design and modeling is essential
• Strong knowledge of relevant engineering codes and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team
• UK Driving Licence
• Live in a commutable distance to Wakefield

Civil Technician Position Remuneration

• Salary £30k -£35k
• 25 days Holiday + BH
• Regular CPD sessions

• Additional time off for Birthdays and an early Friday finish
