Structural Engineer - required for our rapidly expanding client to work across the North West based from their Warrington office and from home .The Structural Engineer will be working for a company that operate across the UK specialising in Structural Inspections supported with a Structural Design team.
The Structural Engineer will be field based providing Structural design for all types of building structures using new digital technology on a range of Residential, Commercial and Historic Buildings. This opportunity will suit a Structural Engineer who is comfortable working from home full time that has a passion and drive for Structural Engineering and new technologies. The company will fully support the Engineer to become chartered and progress their career as the company grows.
Structural Engineer Position Overview
- Structural design for all types of building structures, under the supervision of a Senior Structural engineer
- Preparation of associated AutoCad structural drawings
- Providing support to the Senior Structural engineers
- Assistance with site inspections
- Developing new ideas
- Using the latest software's
Structural Engineer Position Requirements
- 1 or higher degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering
- 2years + post graduate design experience
- Proficiency in IT systems (essential)
- A general understanding of building structures and materials including steel, masonry, concrete and timber
- Industry standard structural design software such as TEDDS
- Proficient in the use of AutoCad
- Passionate about new technologies and progressive change
- Car owner and UK driving licence
