Growing and ambitious Northampton based Accountancy practice are currently seeking an enthusiastic Semi Senior to join the Accounts and business services team and will be required to carry out the VAT, production of Management accounts and also producing yearly accounts all while sticking to relevant deadlines and providing a great all-around service.
The Semi Senior Accountant will have a few years experience within practice using Xero & Sage whilst also having a good knowledge of producing Accounts and assisting with client queries.
Semi Senior Accountant Position Overview
- Planning of jobs for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and charities
- Preparation of final accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and charities
- Liaising with clients on draft accounts to approve or discuss
- Audits - following planning by the others, taken through to conclusion
- Completion of personal and partnership tax returns, as well as company CT600s
- Review of confirmation statements and other statutory documentation
- Preparation of management accounts
Semi Senior Accountant Position Requirements
- Experience within practice is essential
- Experience using Xero and Iris is advantageous
- Experience preparing VAT and annual accounts
Semi Senior Accountant Position Remuneration
- Up to £28,000 per annum
- 5 hour week - Flexible
- 30 days holiday including bank holiday
