Senior Accountant required for a growing Accountancy practice. Our client is seeking a self-motivated Accountant to work within the business services team delivering a range of advisory and accountancy services.
Our client is based in St Helens and the ideal candidate would be able to split their focus across advisory work and other professional services such as accountancy, system reviews, company secretarial work and some aspects of corporate tax.
Experience in an accountancy practice working within a similar role is essential. You would ideally have an ACA or ACCA qualification but this isn't a prerequisite. This role would suit an Accounts senior looking for that next step.
Senior Acountant Position Overview
- Preparation of annual accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
- Preparation of client's quarterly management accounts
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Preparation of corporation tax and income tax computations
Senior Acountant Position Requirements
- Accountancy practice essential
- Excellent communication skills when dealing with clients
- Experience with Iris, Sage and the Microsoft Office package would be advantageous
- ACA or ACCA qualification or QBE will be considered
Senior Acountant Position Remuneration
- Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (Flexible)
- Paid overtime
