Job Profile

We are currently representing a talented Architectural Practice based locally to Rochdale, Greater Manchester that are actively seeking a Senior Architect to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Architect to build and develop their career within a well-established, talented team.

The successful Senior Architect will be working closely with the Managing Director, assist with overseeing and managing workload, manage the design and construction projects as well as assist Junior members of staff.

This practice specialises within several sectors including Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Education, Industrial and Conservation. The successful Architect will be involved in a variety of small to large scale projects within several sectors. It is essential for the Architect to have an excellent knowledge of AutoCAD. A knowledge of Revit and SketchUp would be highly beneficial but not essential.

Senior Architect Position Remuneration

  • Salary; £40,000 - £50,000 + (DOE)

Senior Architect Position Overview

Senior Architect Position Requirements

  • Living in or around the Rochdale, Manchester area
  • Minimum of 5 years professional working experience in the UK (post qualifications)
  • Suitable Qualifications and Chartership is essential
  • Work distribution and team managerial skills
  • Experience in all construction methods
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD - Revit and SketchUp skills would be of advantage
  • Excellent detail and technical ability
  • Time Management
  • Good working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and Building Standards
  • Good Communication and co-ordination skills
  • Knowledge of NBS specification and JCT contracts
