They have an inhouse mortgage team of mortgage brokers and are looking to grow the amount of work the business gets.

They are looking to recruit a mortgage administrator to help assist their mortgage broker team. Helping to manage applications, speaking with solicitors, taking enquiries, carrying out admin jobs and more. BDM Position Overview

Application Processing:

Receive and review mortgage applications from clients, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.

Input application details into the mortgage system and update application status as required.

Client Communication:

Communicate with clients to request additional information or documentation needed to complete their mortgage applications.

Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their applications and answer any inquiries they may have.

Liaison with Lenders:

Act as a liaison between clients and mortgage lenders, submitting applications and following up on their progress.

Ensure timely response to requests for information or documentation from lenders to expedite application processing.

Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies throughout the mortgage application process.

Maintain accurate records and documentation for all mortgage applications and client interactions.

Administrative Support:

Provide administrative support to mortgage advisors, including scheduling appointments, organizing documents, and managing client files.

Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the mortgage department.

Mortgage Administrator Position Requirements

  • Previous mortgage industry experience is essential
  • Previous Administrator experience is essential
  • CeMap would be ideal but isn't essential
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

Mortgage Administrator Position Remuneration

  • £25-35k based on experience
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays
  • Other benefits to be discussed
  • Mon-Fri 9-5pm fully in office
