Audit Senior required. My client is a Top 50+50 accountancy practice with a number of offices based in the South of England. They are seeking an Audit Senior to join their friendly team at their Weston-super-Mare office.



Audit Senior Position Overview

  • Manage, control and conduct audit fieldwork for a diverse range of clients
  • Develop strong, professional relationships with your clients
  • Assist with bringing new business to the firm
  • Understanding technical matters and present them in a logical and practical way
  • Manage and develop junior members of the team
  • Manage the preparation of financial statements for non-audit clients
  • Assist the audit partners with developing the department
  • Carry out technical research and provide advice for clients and for other members of the firm

The ideal candidate will be a part-qualified/qualified ACA or ACCA audit professional looking to progress their career to the next stage. Ideally, you will have previous experience working in an accountancy practice.







Audit Senior Position Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA part-qualified/qualified with a decent level of experience working in an audit and assurance team
  • Previous experience working in an accountancy practice is essential
  • A good level of knowledge regarding UK Financial Reporting Standards and International Auditing Standards
  • Adaptable, organised and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work well within a team and be proactive with own work
  • A working knowledge of Sage Accounts Software (desirable)
  • Experience using Caseware Audit Software (desirable)






Audit Senior Position Remuneration

  • £36,000+ basic salary (DOE)
  • 20 days holiday + bank holidays - increasing to 25 days after 3 years' service
