Tax Manager required. Due to continued growth, my client is seeking for a Tax Manager to join their team. My client is one of the few remaining independent chartered accountancy practices, of a certain size, in the Leeds area.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fantastic client base to build lasting relationships, where you will offer a full and diverse range of services whilst maintaining exceptional levels of client service.

Tax Manager Position Overview

• Provide tax planning and compliance advice to our clients - employment tax matters/other corporate tax issues
• Act as the point of contact to clients for tax-related queries
• Identify tax planning opportunities for clients and provide advice on tax implications
• Review and oversee the preparation of Corporate Tax Returns and computations - ensuring everything is accurate and compliant with legislation
• Assist with the tax audits and investigations, liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients
• Assist with the training/development of junior staff
• Keep up to date with tax legislation
• Participate in business development opportunities, pursuing opportunities to grow our client base

My client is an independent firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors - who are currently a team of 50+ staff members, providing a full range of accounting, audit and tax services to an diverse client base dominated by owner managed and family businesses, predominantly across the Yorkshire region.

Tax Manager Position Requirements

• ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent to
• Previous experience working in an accountancy practice
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail

Tax Manager Position Remuneration

• £50,000+ basic salary
