Skilled and experienced Roller Shutter Fitter required to join a well-established company based in the Chigwell area. As a Roller Shutter Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of roller shutters. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of construction, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Fitter Position Overview

  • Efficiently and accurately install a variety of roller shutters according to specifications
  • Ensure that installations comply with safety standards and regulations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on existing roller shutters to identify and address any issues.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of components as needed.
  • Take precise measurements to customize roller shutters according to the specific requirements of each project.

Fitter Position Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Roller Shutter Fitter or similar role.
  • Familiarity with various types of roller shutters and their applications.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
  • Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and any relevant certifications in installation and safety.
